With MARTEL primarily focusing on providing the workflow management service that is implemented via Prefect Orchestration. This component orchestrates and executes microservices as workflows, enabling modular and scalable application development. In ACES, it leverages Cloud Native Infrastructure like Kubernetes to trigger ML pipelines as pods or containers while supporting code parallelization. At the same time another goal of MARTEL is to ensure perfect work of data storages such as: knowledge database, long-term metrics storage and temporary metrics storage. The former component is now in the process of integration and partners are being in a close contact with colleagues from UL.
