The swarm intelligence scheduler simulates a multi-agent system using the MESA library in Python to analyse resource utilization and queue lengths over configurable time steps and traffic densities. It optimizes scheduling by leveraging slack resources from rigid pods to accommodate elastic pods, following a Poisson-based pod arrival process. This component is one of the most important in the whole ACES project, with it being the Lake Lab silver bullet, now it is on the verge of deploying on the AWS cluster that will be provided by HIRO.
