In this presentation, we introduce a new tool for optimizing black-box cost functions—costly and unknown functions. Our tool smartly explores the function’s domain starting with minimal data, using Bayesian learning combined with acquisition functions for efficient evaluation. Fully distributed and decentralized, this tool is ideal for operating on a cloud of heterogeneous agents, fitting the ACES context perfectly.
