At EGI2025, ACES takes the stage in the Demonstration Pitches session (10:45–11:00, Auditorium) with a presentation by Luca Remotti, lead of WP6 – Communication, Dissemination, Standardisation and Exploitation, in the ACES Research and Innovation Action supported by Horizon Europe.

Edge computing brings computation closer to where data is generated – enabling faster decisions, real-time responses, and reduced reliance on centralised cloud systems. ACES is delivering a fully integrated, self-orchestrating edge platform designed to manage complex, distributed processes.

In this session, we show how ACES is being finalised and deployed to support electricity management in Greece, with three key applications: real-time price fixing, efficient activation of energy sources, and intelligent dispatching to protect grid stability.
