ACES Edge Computing Demo Session from the Electricity Sector

📍 EGI2025 – ACES Demonstration Session
Wednesday, June 4 | 17:30–18:00 | Bringas-Riancho

A live demonstration of the ACES (Autopoietic Cognitive Edge-cloud Services) platform showcases how edge-cloud integration transforms real-time energy grid management. Presented by Luca Alessandro Remotti (DataPower), Nikolaos Kanakaris, and Theo Grigorakakis, and Marija Gojkovic (Lakeside Labs) the session highlights the deployment and validation of ACES in the Greek IPTO electricity grid.

The demonstration shows how ACES enhances demand-supply matching, predictive maintenance, and anomaly detection through Edge MicroData Centers and AI-powered orchestration. Real-time visualisations and use-case walkthroughs present ACES in action—pushing the frontier of intelligent, distributed energy operations.

A specific session is dedicated to swarm intelligence, where Marija Gojkovic demonstrates how decentralised coordination enables dynamic, self-organising responses across the grid. Real-time visualisations and use-case walkthroughs present ACES in action—pushing the frontier of intelligent, distributed energy operations.
